Measurements

Used for batch sizes, recipe amounts, and paint on hand.

Measurement system

Metric uses grams and milliliters. Imperial (US) uses ounces by weight and US fluid ounces by volume.

Batch and ratio basis

Use weight for a scale or volume for equal scoops or a measuring cup. Parts ratios follow this basis. Paint on hand is always recorded by volume.

Show in recipes

Choose one or more measurements for the mixer, copied recipe, and printout. Parts are unitless ratios; you choose the size of a part.

Paint densities make weight and volume ratios different. Recipes use each paint’s wet density to convert between them. The density field in the paint editor always uses g/mL.

Printed recipes

Paper size is independent of your paint measurements.

Paper size

A4 is 210 × 297 mm. US Letter is 8.5 × 11 inches. Choose the paper you put in your printer.
